Assistant Business Development Manager – Primary Market Research

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing primary research proposals based on client briefs and internal discussions.
  • Support the Business Development Manager in client meetings, proposal follow-ups, and pipeline tracking.
  • Help maintain and grow a network of potential clients by coordinating outreach efforts and relationship-building activities.
  • Collaborate on strategies for client acquisition and engagement, including scheduling presentations and maintaining contact lists.
  • Present the company’s credentials and service offerings to clients via email, phone calls, or virtual meetings (with guidance).
  • Coordinate the proposal and bidding process, including gathering inputs from research, fieldwork, and costing teams.
  • Learn to evaluate the feasibility of market research briefs and assist in preparing cost estimates.
  • Represent the company professionally during client interactions and internal meetings.
  • Keep track of industry trends and assist in identifying potential business opportunities.

 

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a primary market research agency, preferably in a client servicing, business development, or pre-sales role.
  • Exposure to proposal writing, research cost estimation, and client communication.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a business development role.
  • Candidates based in Mumbai or New Delhi will be preferred.
