Junior Project Manager – Primary Market Research

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of qualitative and quantitative market research projects under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Assist in setting up surveys, coordinating with field teams, and tracking project progress to ensure timelines and quality benchmarks are met.
  • Help define sample requirements and monitor respondent quotas.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and field partners to ensure smooth project operations.
  • Coordinate logistics for fieldwork activities such as shop-alongs, in-depth interviews, and city immersions.
  • Assist in sourcing and screening B2B and B2C respondents for market research studies.
  • Learn and apply innovative respondent recruitment techniques using digital and offline channels.
  • Maintain project documentation, update trackers, and support timely reporting to senior managers or clients.
  • Occasionally accompany clients during field visits or in-person research sessions.
  • Provide support in managing budgets and resource planning (with supervision).

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 0.5 to 2 years of experience in a market research field agency, data collection agency, or research operations team. Freshers with internship experience may also apply.
  • Exposure to managing or coordinating consumer, B2B, or healthcare research projects is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Comfortable working with field teams, moderators, and translators.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Candidates based in Mumbai or New Delhi will be preferred.
