About the Role

Cultural Traits is looking for an experienced Vendor / Resource Manager to manage, coordinate, and scale our global network of research vendors and resources across India, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth research operations, reliable partner delivery, cost efficiency, and consistent data quality across qualitative and quantitative market research projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with fieldwork agencies, recruiters, moderators, translators, and research partners across multiple regions and time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Management & Coordination

  • Identify, onboard, and manage research vendors across India, Asia, Europe, and LATAM
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with recruitment partners, field agencies, moderators, translators, and support vendors
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor communication, timelines, and deliverables

Resource Planning & Allocation

  • Allocate the right vendors and resources based on project scope, geography, timelines, and budget
  • Coordinate availability of moderators, recruiters, translators, and operational support teams
  • Ensure optimal utilization of internal and external resources

Costing, Negotiation & Budget Control

  • Request, review, and negotiate vendor quotations across markets
  • Ensure cost competitiveness while maintaining high data quality standards
  • Track vendor costs and project budgets to ensure financial discipline

Quality & Compliance Oversight

  • Ensure vendors adhere to recruitment criteria, data quality standards, and ethical research practices
  • Monitor fieldwork progress, proactively identify risks, and resolve delivery issues
  • Conduct post-project vendor performance reviews and maintain scorecards

Operational Support

  • Work closely with project managers and research leads on multi-country studies
  • Manage timelines and coordination across different time zones
  • Maintain updated vendor databases, rate cards, contracts, and performance records

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Vendor Manager, Resource Manager, or Operations Manager in market research or a related industry
  • Proven experience managing vendors across India, Asia, Europe, and LATAM
  • Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research operations
  • Experience working on multi-country, multi-language projects
  • Excellent negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with global market research agencies or consulting firms
  • Familiarity with cultural nuances and recruitment challenges across regions
  • Experience managing freelance moderators, translators, and niche recruitment vendors
  • Comfortable working across global time zones

Compensation Details (India-Based Role)
