CAR T-Cell Immunotherapy for Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma (DLBCL)

Research Objective:

This research aimed to understand healthcare professionals’ experiences treating and managing Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma (DLBCL) in India, Taiwan, and Thailand. The study focused on exploring the use of CAR T-cell immunotherapy for the treatment of relapsed or refractory DLBCL patients.

Research Approach:

To gather actionable insights, Cultural Traits conducted qualitative in-depth interviews with Oncologists, Hematologists, and other specialists treating DLBCL patients across these three countries. The research focused on understanding the need, support, and opportunity for using CAR T-cell therapy in these markets.

Optimize Route for Tdap Vaccine amongst Asthma and COPD Patients in Vietnam

Research Objective:

The objective of this study was to understand reactions to various routes developed for the Tdap vaccine, specifically targeting asthma and COPD patients in Vietnam. Additionally, the goal was to identify ways to optimize the most effective route.

Research Approach:

Cultural Traits conducted qualitative interviews with general practitioners (GPs) and pulmonologists in Vietnam to gather insights on their preferred treatment routes.

Exploratory Research on Anti Infectives

Research Background :

A major pharmaceutical company wanted to understand the overall outlook and treatment behavior of antibiotics in infection control in India for different indications considering community infections
1. Create a patient’s persona and understand usage and attitudes
2. Understand the brand perceptions and emotional connection with rational strength
3. To understand hidden drivers and associations with brands/products that influence use
4. To understand the influence of Antimicrobial resistance and susceptibility data in influencing treatment with antibiotics

How Cultural Traits made a difference?

We recruited Urologists, Pediatricians, General practitioners, ENTs, and Chest physicians from the major hospitals in India and across different cities with significant patient loads for indications like Acute Bacterial Rhinosinusitis (ABRS), Acute Otitis Media (AOM), community-acquired pneumonia, Recurrent Tonsillitis and Urinary tract infection
Unlike the traditional F2F in-depth interviews, all the interviews were done virtually using a streaming platform. Along with recruitment we also did the streaming platform setup, scheduling, and top line reporting at our end.

The client was able to understand the science behind the patient’s persona and the outlook on the use of antibiotics.

Brand Elements Messaging Study with HCPs and Policy Elites

Research Background:

A major US pharmaceutical company wanted to align its brand messaging and positioning strategy and in turn develop communication materials as a part of their post-merger. Different mission and brand positioning statements were explored to the relevant stakeholders

How Cultural Traits made a difference?

We recruited stakeholders including Cardiologists, Oncologists, Opinion Elites, Policy Elites, and Investors. The client also wanted to have an in-facility group discussion with the Cardiologists and Oncologists from tier 1 hospitals. Although this was a bit challenging, our experienced field team managed to bring in doctors from different tier-1 hospitals and locations.
The client gained insights into the messaging strategy and was clear about what would work and what would not. They were also able to understand what more is needed for increasing the brand’s visibility and expanding reach.
